The E195-E2 is a narrow-body, twin-engine jetliner produced by Brazilian aerospace manufacturer Embraer. It is the largest of the firm’s E-Jet E2 line, which is based on Embraer’s E-Jet series and boasts a number of improvements including more efficient engines and an all new wing. The E195-2 took its first flight on March 29, 2017 and entered service in 2019.
The airliner is crewed by two and accommodates from 120 to 146 passengers, depending on seating class structure. The E195-E2 measures 136 feet, 2 inches and has a low main wing with a span of 115 feet, 3 inches. The airliner’s wing has a high aspect ratio design, and is one of the most efficient of any ever engineered. The E195-E2 features an advanced cockpit and fly-by-wire control coupled with a flight control computer that maximizes fuel efficiency.
